Rose Cemetery

Rose Cemetery is located in Creek Township section 9, about one mile south of and off of Hwy 10. It holds many old gravesites, the earliest I could locate was 1852 but many of the stones that are unreadable look as though they date much earlier. This cemetery is fairly well groomed but is in need of some TLC to the older stones, many are broken and leaning and there are some on the edges that are in danger of falling. The north side is on a knoll and the stones there are at a angle heading towards the road. I was taken with just how many old pioneers were buried here and took more than the normal pictures. I hope that some of you who have ancestors here can mount a campaign to get this beautiful spot back in good condition before it is too late.
