John W. Curl

John was the son of Jeremiah and Lucinda (Summers) Curl.  John married Delcina Lane, daughter of Asher and Sarah (Emmert) Lane.  John was in the Civil War and was a POW at Andersonville Prison Camp.  When they brought him home he was just skin and bones.  He died in 1892 of heart disease, brought on by intestinal dysfunction and malnutrition.
