Mary Christine (Hall) and John Joseph Bell
John Joseph Bell was born March 22, 1878, in Havana, Illinois, and died January 31, 1948, in Los Angeles, CA. He was the son of Frank and Mary (Beitelman) Bell and had two brothers, Harry (b. 1869) and Willie (b. 1875), and two sisters, Jennie (b. 1871) and Mary (b. 1891). Harry was the Mayor of Havana from 1935 to 1941. John moved to DeWitt County and married Mary C. Hall in 1901. They had two daughters, Bernice and Lorraine.
