This appears to be the burial place of just one person, James Benjamin Clagg.  James died April 29, 1888, at his residence near the Burns School house and it was his wish that he be buried in the school yard.  His funeral was held May 1, 1888.  He was the father of six children, but at the time of his death, no one knew their whereabouts.  His aged wife went on to marry William R. Dillavou and died February 10, 1914, and was buried in Rose Cemetery.
